The Information and Documentation Bibliographic Institutional Technical University Federico Santa Maria, is pleased to invite to participate in the 2nd International Congress of University Libraries, the international library community by the network of entities with which they interact on a daily basis: students, academics, researchers, publishers, vendors, educational authorities, and the general public.

The technological advances of the time influenced the ways to acquire knowledge and information, which has led to new challenges for educational institutions, regarding the adaptation of new technologies for student learning, teaching, information professionals, and society at large. Attentive to the evolving social, academic libraries are striving to include these new resources, commensurate to know today, this conference leaves the door open to professionals in the area of information reflect, inquire and projected onto Coping current communications environment in the best way possible, being: "Virtual Libraries", "collaboration networks" and "Management Control", some of the pillars that form the agenda papers in this opportunity.
